چکیده
Sex hormones and their receptors play a crucial role in human sexual dimorphism have been traditionally associated with hormone-dependent cancers like breast, prostate, endometrial cancer. However, recent research has broadened our understanding by revealing connections other types of cancers, such as lung cancer, where the androgen receptor found to be particularly significant. This review aims explore molecular mechanisms action cancer pathogenesis progression, highlighting potential inhibiting signaling pathway therapeutic strategy for treatment.

Role of Adenosine receptor in lung cancer
Summary: Adenosine through adenosine receptor have a crucial role in biology of lung cancer. Recent study indicated adenosine receptors have a crucial role in various aspect of lung cancer from cell growth and metastasis to modulation of apoptosis and it could be considered as a potential candidate for treatment of the lung cancer.
متن کاملA Molecular Analysis Provides Novel Insights into Androgen Receptor Signalling in Breast Cancer
BACKGROUND Androgen Receptor (AR) is an essential transcription factor for the development of secondary sex characteristics, spermatogenesis and carcinogenesis. Recently AR has been implicated in the development and progression of breast and prostate cancers. Although some of the functions of the AR are known but the mechanistic details of these divergent processes are still not clear. Therefor...
متن کاملMolecular insights into androgen actions in male and female reproductive function from androgen receptor knockout models.
BACKGROUND Androgens and the androgen receptor (AR) have well known roles in male reproduction, and recent genetic mouse models inactivating the Ar gene have conclusively defined a role for androgens in female reproduction. In males, AR gene inactivation severely disrupts spermatogenesis by interrupting completion of meiosis, thereby eliminating production of mature sperm leading to male steril...
متن کاملanalysis of chemokine receptor gene expression in esophageal cancer cells compared with breast cancer with insights into me¬tastasis
background: chemokine receptors have been shown to play an important role in the development and metastatic spread of various malignancies. in this study, the gene expression profile of some key chemokine receptors involved in metastasis has been investigated in esophageal and breast cancer cell lines. methods: in a descriptive study, gene expression profile of ccr1, ccr6, ccr7, ccr9, cxcr1, ...
متن کاملBAP18 coactivates androgen receptor action and promotes prostate cancer progression
BPTF associated protein of 18 kDa (BAP18) has been reported as a component of MLL1-WDR5 complex. However, BAP18 is an uncharacterized protein. The detailed biological functions of BAP18 and underlying mechanisms have not been defined. Androgen receptor (AR), a member of transcription factor, plays an essential role in prostate cancer (PCa) and castration-resistant prostate cancer (CRPC) progres...
